Martha also specializes in Imago Relationship Therapy and Brainspotting, a therapeutic intervention for trauma and anxiety disorders.

Shannon Coleman-Humphries is an Licensed Counselor and also holds an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification from the Alabama Drug and Alcohol Association. She has over 25 years of experience in social services working with individuals and families.
Shannon’s area of experience includes counseling adults with substance abuse disorders, behavioral addictions, anxiety, depression, blended family issues, and life adjustment issues.
JAMES THOMAS

James Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University in 2009, a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in 2014 and is currently working on a PhD through Liberty University in Counselor Education and Supervision. James has been counseling since 2014 and has experience working with children, married couples and individuals in a variety of settings. James has experience doing faith based Christian counseling and has studied Christian counseling techniques at a PhD level. James is currently researching techniques he created known as the Unified Theory of Counseling as part of his thesis work. These methods are based in valid, reliable techniques such as Dan Allender’s story work method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Restructuring, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Rogerian Client-centered therapy among others. James works with children, married couples, adolescents and adults. He is the owner of Emerge Counseling currently doing business as Ellis Counseling.
MADALYN CALDWELL

Madalyn Caldwell is a compassionate and dedicated licensed professional counselor specializing in perinatal mental health. She holds a BA in Psychology from Auburn University, a MS degree in Counseling and Psychology and EdS in Community Counseling both from Troy University, and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. Additionally, Madalyn is trained in EMDR and a certified TF-CBT and PMH-C therapist.
Madalyn provides expert guidance and support to help clients navigate a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties.
Madalyn Caldwell is committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. She believes in the importance of personalized care and collaboratively tailors treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
In addition to her clinical work, Madalyn Caldwell is actively involved in perinatal mental health advocacy and education. She frequently conducts workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs to raise awareness about the importance of mental health support during the perinatal period and to destigmatize conversations around pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
GREGGA OVERBY
Gregga Overby completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2016 and went on to obtain a Master of Social Work in 2018, both from Troy University. Working with individuals and family therapy, her main goal is to help clients reach their full potential. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness practices. She is skilled at tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each person she works with. Her primary focus is on empowering individuals of all ages to develop healthy coping strategies, improve self-esteem, build stronger relationships, and lead more fulfilling lives. Throughout her career, she has successfully guided numerous individuals in developing resilience, personal growth, and overall well-being. With empathy, insight, and unwavering dedication, Gregga is committed to supporting all her clients on their journey towards self-improvement.
